How is Hannah feeling now? When my brother was first amputated he really started feeling good about the time his sutures came out. It is hard because every dog is different. Some dogs don’t feel like themselves because of the pain meds they are on. Hopefully you will get back to your normal self soon and feel great! Good luck, we are thinking about you!

Well it is 2 weeks today. She had her sutures out on Fri and was very happy to go for a car ride. Other than that she still mostly sleeps all day. I tried to reduce her pain meds to every 12 hrs but was afraid I was witholding meds if she still had pain. She did actually bark a few times or at lease a half bark. We had her outside this weekend and the neighbor came down the street with his boat. She normally chases him from one end of the yard to the other and barks crazily but she just kind of sat up and half barked. Also we have a squirrel that comes across our pool enclosure every day and sometimes sits by window above door. Again, she half barked but wasn’t nearly as excited as she usually gets.
